Laura Evans

Laura Evans is a third-year law student at the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University.

She is currently serving as the president of Chapman’s Corporate Law Society and is an active student member of the California Lawyers Association’s Intellectual Property Section.

Prior to externing at T-Rex Law, Laura spent time at another law firm in their copyright division. In this role, she gained invaluable first-hand experience drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery in various stages of litigation, as well as assisting in settlement negotiations.

She was also awarded the National Jurist Law Student of the Year award for her work as the Law Student Director with Ukrainian Mothers and Children Transport, a legal project of volunteer lawyers and law students across the country helping provide legal aid to Ukrainian refugees.

Laura received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine and her Masters of Business Administration from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University.

In her free time, Laura likes to go salsa dancing, and volunteers with local Orange County animal rescue organization Friends of Normie where she fosters street cats and kittens until they find their forever homes.
